Loads of teams in various domestic leagues have really gotten my attention this season. Their performance( either topping their domestic League table or their fearsome display) so far this season, I am very sure, haven't gone unaware. The likes of Lille, Aston Villa, Leeds United, Real Soceidad, Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, and Rangers.

However of all these clubs, 3 have caught my attention the most, and they are: AC Milan, Bayer Leverkusen, and Rangers.

Starting from the first:

AC Milan:

I bet many will feel there isn't anything special about this Club's performance this season , but to me, there is.

If you were very familiar with AC Milan during the days of Pirlo, Kaka, Shevchenko, Nesta, Maldini, Dida, Inzaghi, Stam, Seedorf, Gattuso etc, I bet you will know how much this team have declined in power over the years, and the joy you get seeing them back to something close to their past, except if you're a rival team supporter of course.

No disrespect to the lads(truth be told, they've been fantastic), the return of Ibrahimovic to this team has brought a big turn around for the team. He has really transformed this team, instilled a strong spirit into the boys, and ensured Milan are looking more like the Milan we used to know.

This new Milan came top of their Europa League, losing only to an in form Lille, and they are also top of their domestic league table, unbeaten in all 12 games, although, they've seen a 5 point gap over 2nd place Inter reduce to 1.

One other thing I have also noticed about this team is their "fighting spirit". I know it's pretty bad giving your opponents any form of advantage in the game of football because, you might get unlucky at times, but this Club's ability to turn games around is really amazing. Even with the absence of Ibrahimovic, we've seen them come from behind to draw games( against Parma and Genoa), or even win(against Celtic).

I hope they get to keep this performance, and most probably, put an end to the over due monopoly of Juventus in the Serie A.

Bayer Leverkusen:

Another team that have gotten me stunned by their performance. I haven't really been following them before now, but when you have a team that has scored a whooping 18 goals, and have only conceded 3 in their last 5 games, I bet you will want to take a look at this team.

Just like Milan, they've only lost a single game this season(a Europa League fixture they lost to Slavia Prague), and are also sitting on top of the Bundesliga, unbeaten in all 12 league games this season.

Many will be looking forward to Saturday's game as they host 2nd placed Bayern Munich. We know how difficult this will be against a Bayern side who are not in their very best shape, but are still dangerous, a win in that game will make a great statement in favour of the host.

I know how difficult it will be to break Bayern's hold on the Bundesliga trophy after so many trials by both Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig, but it will be great to see a new Bundesliga Champion, and I hope it's no other team than Bayer Leverkusen..

Rangers:

Hmm, this team stole the majority of my attention. 54 times Scottish league winners, 33 times Scottish cup winners, 27 times Scottish league cup winners, 1 time European cup winner(1972), and a 2 time UEFA tournament first unner up finalist(1961 and 1967), so much history for a club, not until they got liquidated in 2012, and this became the start of decline.

Fast forward to 2020, 2 years after Steven Gerrard became the manager of the Club's team, I can say, to a huge extent, that we now have a rejuvenated Rangers Fc. This team are just amazing, sitting comfortably at the top of the Scottish league with 13 points difference between they and 2nd placed Celtic(although, Celtic have played 2 games lesser), unbeaten in a whopping 28 games(currently unbeaten in all competitions this season), and are doing extremely well in the Europa League.

I won't be suprised if the Teddy Bears sweep all trophies available in Scotland, and get to at least, the quater finals of the Europa League.

All the best to these teams, and I hope they continue to give us the best.

Feel free to drop your comments and opinions, I will greatly appreciate them.
