Matchday 15 Bundesliga games provided us with some amazing fixtures such as Schalke 04 vs Hoffenheim, Borussia Mochengladbach vs Bayern Munich, and RasenBallsport Leipzig vs Bayern Munich. It was even far more interesting to see Schalke get their 2nd victory of the season as they stunned Hoffenheim by 4 goals to nothing.

However, we have decided to lay more emphasis on the games involving the top 4s of the Bundesliga: Bayern Munich, RasenBallsport Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen, and Borussia Dortmund.

BORUSSIA MOCHENGLADBACH VS BAYERN MUNICH: CRAZY 29 MINUTES

Bayern Munich saw their claim on 1st position threatened when Borussia Mochengladbach stunned them, coming from 2 nil down to overcome the Bavarians by 3 goals to 2.

It all looked like Bayern, who had remain unbeaten against each of the top 4 teams, would run riot against Borussia Mochengladbach after they grabbed 2 early goals in the first 26 minutes of the game with the first coming in the 20th minute from a Robert Lewandowski's penalty and the 2nd in the 26th minute from Leon Goretzka who did good justice to a beautiful 1-2 with Leroy Sane.

What we never knew was that Borussia Mochengladbach had other plans in mind, and were not ready to throw in the towel as they showed real fighting spirit, scoring 3 goals in a space of 13 minutes. The first came in the 36th minute when Jonas Hofmann slotted home a beautiful Lars Stindi killer through ball, and both players combined again in the 45+2th minute, with Stindi providing the assist whilst Hofmann once again the goal scorer, as they came back on level terms with Bayern Munich before the end of the first half. Mochengladbach completed the turn around 4 minutes into the 2nd half as Hofmann turned provider for Florian Neuhaus who got on the scoresheet in the 49th minute.

Borussia Mochengladbach ensured the game ended this way condemning Bayern Munich to yet another defeat this season.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN VS WERDER BREMEN: LEVERKUSEN'S WINLESS RUN CONTINUES

Bayer Leverkusen continue to struggle to get back to winning ways as they have now failed to get a win in their last 2 games after their defeat to Bayern Munich that saw them lose their unbeaten run.

We would have thought this game against a lackluster Werder Bremen side would get Leverkusen back on winning ways, but it was Bremen who shocked Leverkusen as they drew first blood in the 52nd minute when Omer Toprak volleyed a Ludwig Augustinsson free kick. A superb finish I must say.

Bayer Leverkusen were however lucky to get a draw as Patrik Schick got them back on level terms in the 70th minute when his effort deflected off Bremen's goal keeper.

RASENBALLSPORT LEIPZIG VS BORUSSIA DORTMUND: THE RETURN OF ERLING HAALAND

Dortmund had been pretty woeful playing without Haaland as they had lost 2 of their last 5 Bundesliga games in which he was absent, 1 short of the number they had lost in their previous 10 games with him. A loss which stood out between the loses was their 5-1 humiliation by Stuggart at home. However, the presence of the Norwegian wonder kid saw Dortmund condemned RB Leipzig to a shocking 3-1 defeat.

The first half depicted that the game involved 2 German giants as none of both teams could breach the other's backline. However, the 2nd half was a different story entirely as Dortmund scored 3 goals in a space of 29 minutes. The first goal came in the 55th minute when Jadon Sancho slotted home a Marco Reus back heeled oass, Haaland was indirectly involved in this goal as he laid the pass for Marco Reus. The 2nd arrived in the 71st minute as Jadon Sancho turned provider for Erling Haaland who headed home the former's pass, and Haaland made it 3 nil in the 84th minute as he fully utilized a beautiful 1 on 1 situation that was gifted to him by Marco Reus. What a way to return from injury by the Norwegian.

RasenBallsport Leipzig were however able to get a consolation goal as Alexander Soerloth reacted first to his first saved effort from Roman Buerki in the 90th minute, ensuring Dortmund didn't leave the Red Bull Arena with a clean sheet

CONCLUSION:

Bayern Munich remain top of the table with 33 points, followed closely by RasenBallsport Leipzig with 31 points, then Bayer Leverkusen with 29 points, and lastly, Borussia Dortmund with 28 points.

Still a very tight one I must say with Bayern Munich just 5 points above 4th placed Borussia Dortmund.
