Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been left furious by his club level of discipline. This proved to be the case after Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey was red-carded in the club’s Carabao Cup semis against Liverpool.

Just a few days ago, the Ghanaian had just been eliminated with his national side in the African Cup of nations. Yet, he was immediately rushed by the Gunners to make a trip back to Europe in other not to miss this clash.

In his post-match press conference, Mikel Arteta shared his thoughts on Arsenal's level of discipline throughout the game.

From his speech, the Spanish manager pointed that the Gunners have always been red-carded against big team’s in recent times. With the Granit Xhaka incident as a perfect example.

He insisted that it was a piece they were working on, and results would be made manifest sooner.

No doubt, over the last two seasons, Thomas Partey has proving himself to be arguably Arsenal's number one pick in midfield. More often than not, he gets the starting edge ahead of any other individual even Granit Xhaka.

Yet, a good number of fans believe their was no point rushing him after Ghana's exit from the AFCON tournament.
