The last game for Matchday 22 in the EPL takes place tonight with Jose Mourinho's Tottenhams Hotspur hosting Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. And you definitely thought right, it is a "London Derby"

With both teams involved in today's game knowing fully well that clinching the EPL trophy this season is no different form an herculean task, they definitely will be looking at getting a place in the top 4 at least.

Let us proceed to our analysis for this game, shall we?

1) TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR:

Chelsea have not being able to defeat Jose Mourinho's men in their 2 attempts this season with the outcomes being a draw when they both faced off in the EPL and a penalty shoot out win in the EFL cup. Jose Mourinho will definitely be looking forward to making it 3 games without being defeated by Chelsea whilst he fancies the chances of getting his first victory over the Blues as Tottenham manager, inadvertently putting an end to Spur's run of 2 games without a win so far in the EPL.

2) CHELSEA:

Although it is too early to decide how far the Blues can keep this momentum, you definitely can't close your eyes to their impressive game style since Thomas Tuchel replaced Frank Lampard as manager which has culminated in them claiming 4 points out of a possible 6 points without conceding a goal. The Blues will definitely be hoping to keep this momentum if they want to get a Champions League spot after some poor run of games that span from December to late January saw them fall from 2nd position in to as low as 9th position.

Another stat that favors Thomas Tuchel's side getting a win in this game is their impressive run of 3 wins, 2 draws, and 0 losses in the last 5 open games between both sides. The Blues will definitely be looking to extend this amazing run over Spurs, don't you think?

Lastly, Tottenham Hotspur will be without the service of their talismanic striker, Harry Kane who got injured in their game against Liverpool. Without the service of Kane, not only have Spurs being able to manage just 1 goal in their last 2 games, Heung Min Sun have also been extremely quiet without the help of his attacking patner. Chelsea will definitely be looking forward to capitalizing on this fact as well.

Hmm, with all these stats going in favour of Chelsea getting a win, I won't be suprised if a reverse happens, remember, it is a derby game where anything is possible.

I am very optimistic this game will be an entertaining one considering the fact that both teams will be going all out for a win as they both would want to have a good chance of getting a Champions League spot at the end of the season.

ADD ONS: Expected style of play:

Tottenham Hotspur: Counter Attack

Chelsea: Pressing Attacking Game with more focus on keeping the ball.
