EPL Matchday 22 continues today with 5 more games going down: Burnley taking on Manchester City, Fulham hosting Leicester City, Leeds United facing off against Everton, Aston Villa playing against West Ham United, and Liverpool welcomjnv Brighton and Hove Albion to Anfield. Hmm, interesting games you want to say.

I will be taking one game as usual, and yes, you guessed right, it is definitely the game between Burnley and Manchester City at Turf Moor. Burnley will be playing to keep themselves off the relegation zone whilst City will be playing to keep a firm hold on the EPL top position, we should definitely be expecting a cracker.

Moving straight to the analysis.

1) BURNLEY:

It is rather unfortunate to say that Sean Dyche's Clarets do not have any huge stats favoring them to get a win in this game other than the record they hold for breaking Liverpool's unbeaten home record. They will definitely be fancing putting an end to Manchester City's impressive streak of 19 games without suffering a defeat, adding this to their accomplishment this season as they .

2) MANCHESTER CITY:

The first stat in favour of the Citizens is their amazing run of 19 games without defeat which also includes a 12 matches winning streak. I bet the Citizens will be fancing extending both streaks.

Another stat is City's well coordinated style of play defensively which Pep seems to have perfected. The Citizens have not conceded 2 goals in a match since their 2 nil loss to Tottenham, and they have only conceded 1 goal in a match in just 5 games of their last 19 games. This further proves the level of difficulty Burnley will face in getting a goal against City, let alone, getting a win.

There really is no need to talk about how well organized City's atfack is as my 3rd stat in favour of City shows this clearly with respect to the personal meetings between both sides.

City's amazing "head to head" against Burnley is a major stat that I think favours the former getting a win over the latter. City have won the last 7 previous between these 2 sides, scoring a whopping 28 goals, 5 on 4 occasions, and they have only conceded just 1 goal in those 7 games. I bet this stat would be a devastating one for Sean Dyche and his men.

The only downsids to City's almost flawless advantage will be the absence of Kevin De Bruyne, but we have seen how effortlessly they, City have held their own in his absence.

I am looking forward to enjoying this game with Pep Guardiola's Manchester City going for the attack and Sean Dyche's team preferring to wait for counter attack opportunities.

Feel free to drop your opinions and comments, they will be greatly appreciated.
