Donny Van De Beek's move to Old Trafford:

The Dutch international made a move to Old Trafford from Netherlands side Ajax, for a reported sum of 40 million euros.

At his arrival, many would have expected Donny to emerge as a regular starter at United.

However, that did not prove to be the case. In 20 years, the Dutch international only made 50 appearances at Old Trafford. Of which many were from the bench.

Hence, he would now be moving to Everton, with the hope of becoming a regular starter at the club, and finally gaining his ground.

What to expect from Van De Beek:

In recent times, the midfield at Everton has left so much to be desired. Van De Beek would be looking to establish himself as a regular starter while gaining his fitness for the world cup just ahead.

New manager Lampard would make it a priority to bring out the best from the midfielder.

Summary:

The abilities of Donny have never been in doubt. However, considering his dip in form, it would require a lot to get him back to full fitness.
