Fortunately for us, we have the privilege of having great teams from all over Europe. This allows us to enjoy various fantastic moments every week. Things even get even more fantastic when these teams get to meet each other. Most times, we are treated to great football in the continental tournaments such as the Champions League and Europa League. Other times, it could be in other cups. Today, however, it is just another friendly featuring Napoli who would be poised to meet Barcelona in this wonderful game of football. With absolutely nothing but fitness at stake, we should have a good game on our hands.

Barcelona

Barcelona is inactivity mode at the moment. So much is expected to happen between now and the end of the transfer market. With Malcolm already leaving the club, it is expected that the arrival of Neymar from PSG could see Coutinho make a loan move to the premier league. With reports of a loan offer from a club already, this may not be too far off the radar. While they face all that commotion away from the field, they would have to make good of their star players. With the La Liga looking to resume sometime in August, it is believed that they still have enough time to get themselves ready for the season. Napoli would make sure that they get the full heat when they meet.

Napoli

Napoli is on their way up. They are aiming for the top time around and would have to face a resurgent Juventus who would be aiming for another title under their belt. Napoli would hope to be the team who would end their run of eight titles consecutively. To do that would prove quite difficult indeed. However, they get to try their hands on Barcelona in their friendly. Winning the game would surely have an effect on their confidence levels for the better. A loss, however, would surely leave a sour taste in their mouth.

Form

With great displays through the preseason for the team from Naples, they would be happy at how their time here has gone. This good run would extend into their previous campaign where they finished the season with a flourish with only a loss against Bologna smearing the good record. While this match would be great for them to win, they would be careful not to put too much pressure on themselves as this is a match which can go either way.

Barcelona is not having the best of time. Having had an average preseason so far, they can get things rolling in the right direction. This might not be easy considering the team would still some time to gel. However, this process should not take long and they would be back to their best. If Barcelona can play the way we know them to play, then Napoli could be in for a very long night indeed. The game is set up and all we can do now is to watch.
