There are very few teams who have the power to light up the Italian league. One of those teams happen to Juventus and we are sure to witness an explosion when Juventus take on Roma one of their faraway title contenders in the league. Roma would also be gearing up to face the hottest team in the league right now and would be hoping to pass in a place where many others have failed so far.
Juventus are doing fantastic when it comes to the league right now. They are without any question of a doubt the team to beat in Italy this season. With about 15 games played so far, the old lady is undefeated in the league this season with their toughest match so far against Inter Milan some week back. This is their best start to an Italian league campaign in over 60 years and it shows no signs of ending. Many people have put it down to the presence of Ronaldo who made the transfer this season from Real Madrid in a transfer which absolutely rocked the footballing world. Roma, on the other hand, have enjoyed good times in the league this season and would be hoping to get something out of the match
When it comes to overall form, Juventus surely has the lead over the Roma side who have been in bad form recently. Juventus have won the last five matches out of six games with their only loss coming against Young Boys in the champions league after they have secured qualification. They would be hoping to get back to winning ways when they meet Roma in this encounter. Roma, on the other hand, has experienced really dark times in recent history and would be not happy with their form. Roma has lost three of their last six games, drawn the remaining two and won just one. They are currently on a five-match streak without a win. They would be hoping they snap out of it but they face a very difficult match when they meet the champions in their next match.
Line-Ups
The lineups would not be expected to change much as Juventus have maintained a sort of regular team throughout the season so far. Juventus would be expected to start with the likes of Ronaldo and Dybala in attack while Bonucci and his crew would be expected to start in defense. You can expect Cancelo to keep his place in the squad due to his excellent performance. Roma would also be expected to field their first team for this game as it would be viewed as an important game which would serve to test the credentials of this Roma team. Juventus would be out to verify and stamp their authority on the league by taking out the final team close to them in quality. If Juventus does this, they would have confirmed themselves to be undisputed champions of the Italian league.
