Indonesia U-23 national team beat Taiwan with a score of 4-0 at the 2018 Asian Games at the Patriot Stadium on Sunday (08/12/2018).

With this victory, Indonesia while ranked second in Group A with a collection of three points from one match. Indonesia is only based on Hong Kong's third goal difference. The group's top ranking is occupied by Palestinians who collect four points from one win and one draw. While Taiwan dropped to fourth with a collection of one point from two matches.

Statistically, Indonesia is far ahead of Taiwan. The Young Garuda squad has a ball with a percentage of 60 percent. The score changed to 1-0 for Indonesia. It did not take long for Indonesia to double the advantage. In the 70th minute, Beto scored after receiving Lilipaly's pass inside the penalty box. Beto easily beat goalkeeper Pan Wenchieh with a horizontal shot.

In the 76th minute, Indonesia scored again through a spectacular Lilipaly action. The Bali United striker shot a cross. Starting from Rezaldi Hehanussa's cross, Lilipaly ran too fast so he turned the ball. Lilipaly did an acrobatic action with a kick that managed to rip Taiwan's goal off. In the 87th minute, Indonesia again had a golden opportunity. Unfortunately, Febri's kick was too high because of his shin.

During the injury period, Indonesia again scored with a long-range kick from Hargianto. A 4-0 score for Indonesia lasted until the long whistle sounded.
