The Premier League enters its fourth week, with the last set of matches just before the international break slated for Saturday and Sunday. Below are previews and predictions of the eagerly anticipated games.

LECEISTER VS LIVERPOOL

Leceister and Liverpool take to the field in what should be an explosive fixture in the first game of the weekend starting from 12:30pm at the King Power Stadium. The Reds, who are top of the table and the only team yet to concede a goal, know the Foxes are always a formidable threat whenever the pair clash.

This clash has become of the most highly anticipated in the last couple of seasons with the amount of goals and talking points generated. Despite missing the suspended Jamie Vardy, we can expect Leicester to become the first team to breach the Reds defence this season, but I still predict a Liverpool victory.

PREDICTION: LEICESTER CITY 1- 2 LIVERPOOL

CHELSEA VS BOURNEMOUTH

Third-place Chelsea are home to sixth-place Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have a 100 percent record this season, thanks to a late win at Newcastle United at the weekend, while Bournemouth dropped their first points at home to Everton, but remain one of the early season surprise packages.

Maurizio Sarri impressively has got his players playing a beautiful brand of football, and despite one or two question marks regarding his playing personnel (N’Golo Kante as a box-to-box midfielder and the effectiveness of Alvaro Morata) we can still expect a Chelsea win, but not a clean sheet.

PREDICTION: CHELSEA 3 – 1 BOURNEMOUTH

CRYSTAL PALACE VS SOUTHAMPTON

Crystal Palace will aim to halt their successive losing streak when they host Southampton at Selhurst Park at 3:00pm on Saturday. The Eagles haven’t played badly in those defeats to superior oppositions –Liverpool and Watford-- and should fancy getting a second win of the season against a winless Saints side, who could end up in the bottom three by the end of the weekend.

PREDICTION: CRYSTAL PALACE 2 – 1 SOUTHAMPTON

EVERTON VS HUDDERSFIELD

Everton could head into the international break in a top six position if as expected they earn a win at home to a winless and struggling Huddersfield Town. David Wagner’s men are just a spot above the bottom, scored one goal and conceded nine this term.

It should be a pretty straight forward outcome for the Toffees, who despite being without suspended top goal scorer Richarlison, have enough firepower to replace the Brazilian in attack and earn a second win of the season.

PREDICTION: EVERTON 2-0 HUDDERSFIELD

BRIGHTON VS FULHAM

Brighton and Fulham are set for a potentially tricky match, a fixture which pits 11th against 12th. The Seagulls have looked very impressive this season in terms of organization, showcasing those qualities in successive games against Manchester United and Liverpool.

They come up against a Fulham side, who haven’t looked out of place on their return to the Premier League, thanks largely to the form of Aleksandar Mitrovic, scorer of three goals. We expect the Cottagers to continue their scoring streak, with goals at both ends, but ultimately a home win for Brighton should settle this game.

PREDICTION: BRIGHTON 2 – 1 FULHAM

WEST HAM VS WOLVERHAMPTON

Can bottom-place West Ham halt their losing streak when they host an unpredictable Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium? The Hammers are enduring a dreadful start under new manager Manuel Pellegrini, a phase a good ball playing like the Wolves could capitalise on.

If Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves are given time and space on the ball by the West Ham midfielders, it could be to damaging effect, but nevertheless the hosts should get something from this game.

PREDICTION: WEST HAM 1– 1 WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS

MANCHESTER CITY VS NEWCASTLE

Manchester City are expected to pour their frustrations from dropping their first points of the season last weekend, as they welcome Newcastle United to the Etihad Stadium in Saturday’s last game.

The champions might need to rely on more than just plan A to breakdown the Magpies, who were ultra-defensively set-up in an eventual home loss to Chelsea. However, given the array of attacking talents available to Pep Guardiola, I expect it to be business as usual as they earn a routine win which keeps them in contention early on for the title.

PREDICTION: MANCHESTER CITY 3 - 0 NEWCASTLE UNITED

CARDIFF VS ARSENAL

Unai Emery takes his Arsenal team away to face Cardiff City, the only team yet to score a Premier League goal this season. The Gunners earned a first win of the season at home to West Ham, and can be fairly confident of bullying their way past the promoted team.

Considering Cardiff’s goal-shy forwards, I don’t expect Petr Cech to add a significant number to his league high 18 saves in what should be a straight forward Gunners win.

PREDICTION: CARDIFF 0 -2 ARSENAL

BURNLEY VS MANCHESTER UNITED

Are Burnley going to pile further misery on a struggling Manchester United at Turf Moor on Sunday? The Clarets are experiencing a difficult start to the season, occupying the last relegation spot, and could fancy creating an upset against a Red Devils team, who surely have confidence at an all-time low.

The big question is  can Jose Mourinho do to turn his team’s fortuoesn’t look exactly promising for a team whose top stars have consistently let them down at the end of the season, and could barely escape with an away draw.

PREDICTION: BURNLEY 1-1 MANCHESTER UNITED

WALFORD VS TOTTENHAM

The final game of the weekend sees a surprise top four clash between high-flying pair Watford and Tottenham Hotspur at the Vicarage Road Stadium. The Hornets have emerged the surprise package of the season with three wins on the bounce, but can they withstand Spurs’ superior firepower?

That should be a worry for Javi Garcia against a team who humiliated Manchester United at Old Trafford only a couple of days ago and should fancy extending their winning streak on this ground.

PREDICTION: WATFORD 1 – 3 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
