In a recent statement, a former Premier League player has come out to express strong reservations about the activities of a Knee specialist doctor in England.

According to his statements, the doctor was responsible for the short span career he endured. Pointing out that when he needed a surgical procedure, the doctor was quite aggressive hence damaging vital parts of the knee.

With that, the player insists he would be suing the doctor as he believes his situation could have been handled better.

Previous operations are done by the specialists

The statement of the player comes as a surprise. Particularly considering the previous activities undertaken by the doctor.

Former Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade Chamberlain had previously battled with issues concerning his knee. And it was handled by the same Specialists. Other players include Danny Ings and Virgil Van Dijk.

Details of the incident

The Specialist goes by the name Andy Williams. And most of his activities were undertaken at Fortius clinic in London.

In training, the player in question had suffered a tear in his knee ligament. Which had a successful first procedure. However, the second procedure was far from a decent one. As the player was forced to announce his retirement early.

Conclusion

The player would now be charging the doctor for infringement on career prospects. As he believes he now feels depressed and in need of compensation.
