Former Arsenal man and PSV striker Donyell Malen will always have this season as a memorable season has he suddenly became the player lot of scout are keeping tab on and many top clubs in Europe are looking forward to add to their squad. He would have be a good addition for the gunners upfront this season but they never see him hitting this kind of form some years back as they allowed him to join PSV Eindhoven back in 2017. Although, many of the club fans show their anger towards the deal because they never expect Arsenal to sell him.

Donyell Malen is a Netherland forward who started his football career at Ajax in 2007 but despite the fact that the club is willing to offer him a deal then, he decided to move on with his career and choose Arsenal as his dream club then due to the fact that Thierry Henry former Arsenal legend is a player he has always been washing while growing up and in 2015 he joined the gunners after rejecting offer from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Malen started playing in the Arsenal junior team between 2015 to 2017 was impressing both fans and the club with his goals and assist but it was not too easy for him to break into the senior team under manager Arsene Wenger but he later won the manager heart when he was selected as part of the Arsenal squad during their pre season tour in July 2017 and was part of the team that defeated Sydney FC and also lost to Chelsea during the pre season tour. All in all, Malen impressed the manager as he described to be a very good player but that alone is not enough for the club to keep and they sold him to PSV before the transfer window close in August in a transfer fee not up to £1m.

During his period in England, he had a total number of 27 goals in 67 matches for Arsenal before going back to Netherland league with PSV. He joined PSV and was playing in the second team known as PSV II, he was also impressing in the Jupiler League and that gave him the recognition has he received the Bronze Bull award for his performance in the league and finally, he made his debut for the senior team last season against PEC Zwolle by also becoming the highest goal scorer for Jong PSV in 17/18 season.

The Born of a New Striker in Europe

I think this will be a good caption for the PSV hitman as he set another record with the club some weeks back by scoring all the 5 goals when PSV defeated Vitesse in the Eredivisie league. His form also earned a call for the Netherland national team and it was such a good start to his international career as he also got his name of the scoring sheet when Netherland thrashed Germany 4-2 in the EURO 20 qualifier game. He came on in the match as a substitute and restore the Dutch lead in that game before Wijnaldum sealing the winning for them.

PSV will now be glad they allow the deal to happen against them and the gunners some years back as they are rest assured of a maximum gain if they are willing to sell in for any big clubs in Europe. A player that doesn't worth £1m then will now cost any any team willing to buy at a fees less than £50m now depending on the club decision. Liverpool are now keeping eyes on him to find a possible replacing for Firmino in case. He is currently on 9 goals in 12 matches for PSV this season and was part of the scorer in their win against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa match last night
