Like every year, UEFA have announnced its 3 men nominee for UEFA player of the year. This year, the nominee are Luka Modric, Cristiano Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah. The winner will be announce in August 30 during the group stage draw in Monaco.
Luka Modric from Croatia had an excellent champions league and played an important role in winning Champions League for Real Madrid. He also was runner up for Croatia in World Cup. He received the Golden Ball in world cup provided to the best player.
Cristiano Ronaldo played Champions League are Real Madrid player and single handedly won the Champions League. It was his fifth Champions League title. Now he have moved to Juventus. Ronaldo had good World Cup but Portugal was knocked out in Round of 16 by Uruguay.
Mohamed Salah had excellent season last year as Liverpool player and broke multiple record. He had significant impact to take Liverpool to the final of Champions League. He didn't do well with Egypt in Russia.
