During the January transfer window, Barcelona would like to bolster their squad with a quality central defender.

The club management has made up a list of candidates for the position. It includes Ajax's Matthijs de Ligt, Inter's Milan Skrinjar, Dayot Upamecano from Leipzig and Kalidou Koulibali from Napoli.
