Tottenham lost game against Manchester United last night. Loss of points is well deserved because United dominated almost entire game. Just like I thought they insisted on attacks on their left side where is the weakest link in Spurs team - Serge Aurier. From the beginning it was clear that this bad over potent defender (or attacker because he is more in attack than in defense) will not be able to stop Marcus Rashford.

However it isn't him who is directly responsible for first goal. It's other hole in defense Colombian player Davidson Sanchez. I just started to think he has improved and did not make so many ridiculous mistakes which lead to conceding goals, but I was wrong. He made one non league soccer move on right back position and left ball to Rashford like on plate. Team mates looked shocked and failed to block, and Gazzaniga let ball came in inside corner of goal he should protect. Aurier was of course already in midfield closer to center than to his goal. Why would he be closer to his right back position ?

What followed was Spurs unable to connect their lines, with missing link between defenders and midfielders. United won plenty of balls on Spurs half because Sissoko and especially Winks were not up to the task. Few more big chances, one crossbar and plenty of luck to lose with just 1:0 for Spurs.

Near the end of first half Ian Verthongen went in attack and made one good cross into the box, Aurirer on other side shot, De Gea deflected ball which came to Dele Ali who tricked two United defenders by kicking ball in the air, sending it behind them, then move around for one on one situation with De Gea. He shot in other part of Manchester goal near post and United goal keeper could just watch ball coming in. After that Mourinho can ask him who are you Dele or Pele ? :) It was totally non deserved 1:1 for Spurs at half time.

Second half just started and Rashford made clown from Aurirer by easily go-round him like he does not exist at all and penetrates Tottenham box were Sissoko made clumsy move and step on Rashford's foot to make penalty. He converted penalty to goal easily for 2:1 lead. Mourinho did some changes like letting Eriksen and N'dombele play, but this didn't help much. Tottenham tried to do something in attack, but most of balls in attack came on right wing where winger Aurirer ruined everything with his cross attempts which were in matter of fact just passes to De Gea's arms. I think United deliberately let him with plenty of space knowing he can't do much. Son had one half chance, but Fred blocked his mild shot. If he didn't De Gea would save it on goal. United on other side had few dangerous counter attacks, but didn't score third goal. "Car crash" had one more go around situation in Spurs box, but other players saved the net. He was just awful, horrible and shocking all night long! Someone really need to catch up this guy as soon as possible and explain him few things. :)

Tottenham looked more dangerous in last few minutes when they ignored Aurier and tried attacks over other side or through center of defense, but United defended them good. Quick counter attack at the end almost increase lead to 3:1, but last minute tackle prevented ball from coming to alone United player in the box.

It was generally poor performance by Spurs, which ruined my betscorum bet on X (and correct score 2:2), Winks showed he should be on bench for some time, Aurier, "car crash", showed he should be out of squad completely, Sanchez actualized question should he be starter too. I would pick up Foyth or KWP for right back if not even both Foyth for central defender instead of Sanchez and KWP for right back in next game. I don't want to see Sissoko trying to close gap on right side any more, but real right back who stand on his position when other side goes in attack.

This incredible performance by car crash really need big reward like kick in the butt out of first squad and one way ticket for prize travel straight to Hertlepool. :)
