Only loaned
According to the report, Barcelona is planning to release Malcom in January, but on loan.

But they feel Malcom has great potential and can become their important player in the future. For that the player is only released on loan player status.
Move abroad?
According to the report, there were already several clubs lining up for Malcom's signature. Both of them are English clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Both teams have reportedly targeted Malcom since he was still in Bordeaux. For that they will not waste the opportunity to bring it in January.
But the two teams from North London reportedly did not want to just borrow the player for only half a season. For that they reportedly sought a permanent purchase clause in the loan proposal.
Minimal playing hours
Malcom recorded just playing for 25 minutes in the Barcelona first team this season, where he received 25 minutes from 2 times as a substitute.
