After three consecutive wins and 2 wins in the Bundesliga, FC Schalke 04's form curve seems to be pointing upwards. But has the crisis already been overcome? This question can only be answered in the next few weeks.

The start of the season, with five defeats in a row, was a thorough miss and Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco already seemed to have counted.

But then, on the 6th matchday of the Bundesliga, the first victory of the season could be celebrated at home in the Schalke Arena against Mainz 05. The home win against Mainz was even followed by an away trio against Fortuna Düsseldorf on the 7th matchday, after Lokomotive Moscow celebrated an away victory in the Champions League during the week.

The three victories in a row should give the squires a tail wind for their upcoming tasks.

Although one stood in the Bundesliga between on the last place it remained surprisingly quiet in Gelsenkirchen. The manager Christian Heidel gave Domenico Tedesco the time to rebuild the team after the initial season defeats.

Tedesco, strengthened by the manager, prevailed in the dispute between Tedesco and Franco Di Santo over a substitution in the match against FC Bayern Munich. Franco Di Santo had to publicly apologise to coach Tedesco and was fined by the club.

As a manager in professional football you always have to ask yourself if the coach can still reach the team, if he can still motivate the team and if it basically fits between coach and team.

Christian Heidel was able to answer these questions in a positive way after the five defeats of the season and gave Tedesco more time. With the last results it seems as if Domenico Tedesco is back in the saddle again. The upcoming games and the performance of the squires will show that.
