When interviewed sometime early this year, Manchester United legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguses shared his thoughts on Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli. From his statement, he pointed out that he had earlier expected Dele Alli to be a fantastic player and have a great career. Even up until now, he cannot place his hands on what happened to the English man.

Highlights on Dele Alli's career

For someone who had the most goal contribution of an English player at 25, surpassing the likes of David Beckham, it is distressing to see what Alli has become. However, there is good news. The English playmaker is just but 25-years of age provided he can begin his quest for redemption right now, his best days could still be ahead of him.

Dele Ali's time with the Three Lions

The Tottenham forward enjoyed a blistering performance with the Three Lions in the 2018 world cup. The world cup that saw England enjoy an awesome run until the semi-finals. Fast forward to today, Dele Ali has now remained as a second fiddle player coming in from the bench under three Tottenham managers now. Ranging from the “Special one” to Nuno Espirito Santos and now Antonio Conte. Dele Ali has remained a shadow of himself.

As it was earlier highlighted, the English man still has time to resurrect his career bearing in mind that he is still in mid 20s.
