It is time for the north London derby as Spurs face the Gunners at the Wembley Stadium on 2nd of March. The recent fixture between the two giants was in the Carabao Cup where Alli and Son netted to give Spurs a 2-0 win over their rivals. Prior to that match, Arsenal defeated Tottenham at their home, 4-2. Tottenham and Arsenal are placed on 3rd and 4th spot on the points table respectively and both of them would give their best shot to win this derby. Tottenham's home advantage makes them the favourites but Arsenal won't go down without a fight and might well pull off a victory as well.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR

Spurs have had a poor last week or so as they faced two defeats at the hands of Burnley and Chelsea. While the loss against Chelsea can be justified but they shouldn't have lost against Burnley. Despite scoring the opener, Burnley pinned Spurs to the mat 2-1. Dreadful back pass by Kieran Trippier in the match against Chelsea added salt to their wounds. Nevertheless, Spurs are an excellent team and they are deadly when they play at home. The return of Harry Kane is a huge boost for them and if Dele Alli is declared fit, the chances of their win will increase dramatically.

TEAM NEWS

The return of Harry Kane is a huge boost for Spurs but it remains to be seen whether Dele Alli can make it or not as he is suffering from a hamstring injury. The manager of Jan Vertonghen said that his hip problem isn't serious and he might feature in this match. Eric Dier, however is facing a viral infection and he is definitely out.

IMPACT PLAYERS

Harry Kane is their best player and he has 21 goals this season. He returned against Burnley after an injury and scored straightaway. He will be expected to score in this important derby.

Son Heung-Min has scored 16 times this season despite the fact that the South Korean southpaw had international commitments in between.

The live wire in the midfield, Christian Erikson has 9 goals and 12 assists so far. The playmaker's ability to score from long distances makes him one if the impact players for this game.

ARSENAL

The away form of Arsenal is very poor as they have only won twice in the last nine matches they played away from home. Arsenal haven't won a single match among the last four matches played between Tottenham and Arsenal at Wembley. However they have been playing well recently and have won two consecutive matches. They are a good team especially at the front and they are very much capable of scoring at any point of time.

TEAM NEWS

Laurent Koscielny is expected to be fit after picking up an injury against Bournemouth. The likes of Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding are long term absentees. Apart from these three, Unai Emery has almost fully fit squad to choose from.

IMPACT PLAYERS

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice when these two sides met at Emirates in December. He is the top scorer for Gunners this season.

Alexandre Lacazzete is also a player to watch out for as he is back in the goal scoring form.

Mkhitaryan scored against Southampton last time and will be expected to score in this fixture as well.

HEAD TO HEAD

The two sides have met 197 times prior to this match and Arsenal have an upper hand in the head to head stats. Gunner have won 82 times while the Spurs have won 64 times, 51 games have ended in draws.

PREDICTION

Arsenal's away form is very poor and Spurs have been brilliant at home recently, therefore I am backing Spurs to win 2-1.
