I don't know about you but the news of Manchester United sending Ole away as manager of the club meet me well.

First, I am not a United fan. I've never been and definitely will never be. But when you see a good club with amazing players doing ridiculously badly, then something is terribly wrong. It all boils down to the management. How players are used on the pitch to produce the right result depends on the managers foresight.

I can say categorically Ole has no foresight and definitely doesn't know how to manage players. The moments The Times release the news of Man U management deciding to let Ole leave the club for a better person. It is a long coming.

Manchester United have won only one game in their last seven matches. That is an embarrassment for such a big club and The management has remained patient with the manager. However after an embarrassing 4:1 defeat to Watford yesterday, the management decided to lay him off.

The Norwegian manager will be compensated with £7.5 million.

Way Forward

Although Manchester United has quite several individuals in mind to replace former manager Ole, the Owners, the Glazer Family has mounted pressure on the management to intensify their pursuit of former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane.

The French man is a seasoned manager and has a record of four champions league titles and other domestic leagues titles to his name as a Madrid manager. Considering his portfolio, Manchester Uniter will stop at nothing to bring him to Old Trafford.

While the club is making effort to complete all paper works and awaits the arrival of Zidane, former United star, Darren Fletcher will be put in charge to manage the club until then.

I hope things turn around for the Red Devils soonest.
