Zinedine Zidane, a former Real Madrid player, is celebrating his 46th birthday on Saturday.
FIFA was keen to congratulate Frenchman Zinedine Zidane on his birth, and the official account of the 2018 World Cup Russia on Twitter published a picture of Zidane, who won the World Cup in 1998 after winning the French national team.
Zidane scored two goals for Brazil in the 1998 World Cup final in a match at the French International Stadium in Paris, France.
Zidane has already played for many French and European clubs such as Cannes and Juventus, and ended his career with Real Madrid.
Zidane arrived in the 2006 World Cup finals against Germany, but Italy managed to win the title after beating France in penalties.
France hope to win the World Cup for the second time in their history.
Zidane won with Real Madrid three consecutive titles in the Champions League, most recently in the 2017-2018 season after beating Liverpool 3-0 in a match held in the Ukrainian city of Kiev.
