The golden boy list is out and it's only a matter of weeks before we know the winner of the award.

The Golden boy award is presented by Italian sports newspaper Tuttosport. The award is for the most outstanding young player in Europe under the age of 21.

Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze is one of the young talents to miss out on the 20 man list. He made the 40 man list but was dropped in the final list.

Barcelona Ansu Fati is a surprise inclusion in the list. This is someone that couldn't make the 40man list but miraculously made the 20 man list.

Who are the favourites to win the Golden Boy award?

Joao Felix

The Portuguese man is one of the favourites to take home the honour. He had a great season with Benfica last season He was on top form for them throughout the season and that sealed a 126million move to Spanish giant Atletico Madrid. He already picked up from where he stopped and he is doing good for Atletico Madrid.

Vinicius Jr

He is the example of raw talent. The Brazilian was Real Madrid shining spot last season. Despite their poor campaign last season, he showed flashes of his brilliance, what to expect from him in the years to come. His direct running and dribbling caused many problems for opposition defenders last season.

His injury in the Champions league match against Ajax was one of the reasons Madrid failed to qualify for the next round. Ajax have nobody disturbing them and could afford to go out all attack to win the game.

Other favourites include Phil Foden, Matteo Guendouzi, Moise Kean, and De Ligt.

Foden played an integral part in Manchester city treble win last season and Guendouzi was superb for Emery's Arsenal last season. He already started well this season. His playing style is well above his age. You will think he's a sort of player with 800 caps. Moise Kean played a good part in Juventus league triumph last season. He is always there to pop in the goals.

The winner will be announced on December 16 in Turin.
