Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, and Jurgen Klopp have all won the Champions league and are in the same league. This is crazy and a great moment for EPL. The 4 coaches have a total of 8 Uefa Champions League trophies between them and are here competing for the title or top four atleast.

We have some other top coaches such as Brendan Rodgers who has overseen a change of football in Leicester and the likes of Arteta, Nuno Espirito Santo, Solskjaer are there to cause one or two problem for opposing team.

The EPL is the biggest league out there in terms of the exposure, sponsorship, money, and it’s fair to say that it is the top league in terms of success on the field presently. I already mentioned in one of my articles that La Liga domination is over with Real Madrid. Barcelona can only try but will fall short. Real Madrid don’t have the material to win the Uefa Champions League at the moment. Hazard is not in form and is battling with fitness issue while Barcelona over-reliance on Messi will be their doom. Messi is not like before again. You won’t face the likes of Alavez, Espanyol in the Champions League.

The competition in the EPL means none of the teams will take a Champions League fixture lightly. When you face a youthful and daring Chelsea side, followed by Klopp Liverpool, or Ancelotti Everton, you don’t leave room for complacency. You make sure you perfect everything.

The English Premier League teams will definitely do well in the Champions League this season and who knows another all English final like last season. It will be hard but it’s possible. I see Juventus and Bayern Munich as the only threat to another all English final. This is England time, Spanish teams can take a back seat.

Welcome Carlo Ancelotti, Let the games begin.
