It's over a week now since it happened but the pain and disappointment is still fresh in my heart. I sat there watching in utter dismay and disbelief as a team I have supported since childhood was torn to shreds by a ruthless Bayern Munich side. We've had our rainy days as a team but on this particular night a flood was birthed! I don't think we've ever had it this bad...and I hope this demeaning and ignominious incident never happens to us as a team again. Oh Barcelona! Barcelona I love..you broke my heart in a million pieces.😫💔💔. I was really pained and nothing pained me more than seeing the player we loaned to Bayern Munich scoring a brace against us and by doing so lifted the scoreline against us from 6 to 8! The G.O.A.T (Messi) as we call him here couldn't even save the game..he didn't even have one goal to his name and now its all over social media that he wants to leave the club😭..I wished this was a nightmare and I would wake from it..but Alas! there was not going to be any waking up as this was Reality unfolding before my teary eyes and all I could do was watch till the ref blew the final whistle. Just so you would be clear, the above picture surfaced online after Bayern thrashed Chelsea (7-1) on aggregate..I saw it and had no idea what it meant..but after the match against Barcelona, I couldn't help but to think it was actually for us..😭😭..it was indeed a show of shame for Barcelona that night... And the trolling? OMG! my phone didn't rest that night.. I kept receiving calls and messages from friends,cousins,relations and every other person who knew I supported Barcelona only to be ridiculed by them for supporting Barcelona...and you need to see the WhatsApp Status of trolls on my phone that night..Geez! they could send you into depression if you're not strong...at a point, I just had to switch off my phone and try to sleep but sleep deserted me..all that played in my head were the goals the Savage Bayern Side kept pouring in our net and how my heart raced like a horse in a life or death competition each time Bayern had the ball and was advancing towards our goal post😫😭 We've met with Bayern Munich seven times in this tournament. We've won just two and had a draw..while Bayern had won four times in all our meetings now and the highest we've ever scored against them was four goals..same with them, until they decided to annihilate us in our last meeting by taking it to a record high of EIGHT goals.😥..well that's how the game goes.. You win some and you lose some.. But I won't classify this as a lose for Barcelona.. this was nothing short of a Massacre and I hope we'll rise from this mud of defeat stronger and better organised.. Win, Lose or Draw.. I remain LOYAL and wouldn't even nurse the thought of supporting another team.. I Love Barcelona..💜💝💜💝 Thank You!
