What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion for another episode of NBA Talk, and today we will talk about the possibility of a Lonzo Ball to Bradley Beal trade. Let's start!
The young Lakers guard, Lonzo Ball has been linked to many trade rumors early in his career. Despite being a great floor general who has tremendous playmaking talent and a great vision that can help him create plays, he is always been criticized because of his lack of consistency in his offense and his awkward shooting form. Lonzo is a great talent but the Lakers are looking for something big in free agency, probably an all-star that they can pair to LeBron James so he's likely to be moved in the summer.
The Lakers recently have shown interest to Washington Wizards' all-star guard Bradley Beal and look like they can offer Lonzo Ball in a package to get Beal. Beal is a great fit for the Lakers, he can help LeBron James especially in the offense. He already proved that he's a legit star that even without John Wall, he can still be effective on the floor. I even sometimes think that he's better without Wall beside him. And for the Wizards, they want Ball because he's young, full of potential and a solid defender.
The Wizards are not going anywhere right now so they should start rebuilding and trying to get young guys like Ball and the Lakers are trying to compete for another championship to get them back to relevance. It's a win for both teams but if the Wizards deal with the Lakers, it's surely not only Ball that they will demand in exchange for Bradley Beal. Let's see how this trade works out.
