NBA Highlights Episode 94: AD Talks about not being able to wear the No. 23 Jersey

Anthony Davis' desire to play for the team that he wants to play has come to reality. He is now a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and everything looks good for him as he starts fresh with his new team. AD joining the Lakers instantly made them a championship contender, there's no doubt about it. And as he joins the Lakers better things comes his way as it was reported recently that the Lakers superstar LeBron James is gifting Anthony Davis the no. 23 jersey that he's been wearing throughout his career with the New Orleans Pelicans. But, the joy was cut short as Nike didn't approve the said gifting. LeBron is planning to switch back to his no. 6 jersey which he used during his tenure with the Miami Heat so AD can wear 23 but sadly, Ad would have to wait one more season. And at a press conference, Davis had the chance to express his feelings about not being able to wear the No. 23 jersey and instead, he will wear No. 3. Source Davis said that not being able to wear 23 is hurtful and as the Lakers sent him a list of numbers, he didn't know what to choose. So, he decided to went to 2k and tried to put all the numbers to find which fits him better.
