So there I was flicking through the Scorum home page. I was doing my usual rounds. Perusing the trending posts, before drilling down into the soccer sub section as I usually do to unearth some gems. Soon after the golf and Scorum sub sections were analysed and I checked in on the homepages of some of my favorite writers, to see if they had released some 1s and 0s from some far off corner off the world which would appear magically on my screen as their thoughts and assertions on their favorite sports. That's how my Scorum visits often start, though at times I can go down a rabbit hole from comments on a post and discover a great new user - I love it when that happens.
THE DISCOVERY
On this particular day when I was half way through my routine, I happened upon a new user by the name @theprophet0. He was new to Scorum, but was well versed in blackchain technology and was very active in the Steemit space. The post I saw really caught my attention as he talked about promoting Scorum. To that end he was having a contest with great Scorum based prizes. As per usual, I said I'd throw my hat in the ring. Why not eh? A few days later, I was delighted to hear that I was one of the lucky winners. I connected with him on telegram and a few short days later, a package arrived at work with my name on it and a slick Scorum t-shirt inside!
I was delighted of course and ripped the packaging apart quickly to find my coveted new t-shirt! Here is another look at it for all you sports and Scorum fans and sure it would be rude not to take a selfie with me wearing it, even though I hate selfies!! :o)

But to save the non-clickers having to click, he is basically a precocious young man from the USA. More specifically he is from Rockford, Illinois and his hometown name suits his manner, as this guy is rock solid and is looking to bring some great ideas to Scorum. I would encourage people to follow him and keep an eye on what plans he has. We all have great ideas, but Nolan follows through and delivers. The t-shirt giveaway is just the start of it and Nolan has plenty more up his sleave. Check out some more of his plans here:

I must say I'm really impressed by this 17 year olds endeavor and drive. This kind of passion at any age is impressive, but to show it so young really does impress me. Keep up the great work man and once again, thanks for the great gift.
