Hello future Scorum community member, I’m Michael Luchies, also known as @mikey here on Scorum. Scorum is a sports media platform unlike anything you’ve seen before. What is Scorum in 60 Seconds

Explained in the video above, Scorum is a sports media platform on the blockchain that allows you to cash in on your love of sports. Community members earn Scorum Power and Scorum coins in exchange for their comments, votes, and blog posts.

  • Scorum Power (SP): The more power you have on the platform, the more each vote you make is worth. This rewards the community members you are voting for and helps you earn larger curation rewards. You can turn your SP into Scorum coins (SCR). Conversion is spread out over 52 weeks.
  • Scorum Coins (SCR): SCR are liquid tokens that you can use right now. You can power them up to Scorum Power, use them for a contest and send to a friend on Scorum, trade to an exchange and sell to earn money, or even bet on Scorum through betscorum.com.

There are three main components of Scorum that you should know and be excited about, and those are:

  • Scorum Blog: Tens of thousands of sports fans are currently using Scorum’s blog to earn coins. Write original posts and see your follower count and your number of coins increase. You can also earn Scorum coins and Scorum Power from commenting on other people’s posts, and from curating, which simply means using your vote on another user.
