To the Scorum Community,
A group of us that have been part of the Steem community have been trying out Scorum and like where things are going. We see possible growth in value here and want to contribute to the growth of this platform.
One thing that was understood from being on Steem and in crypto in general, distribution is one of the key factors to a successful blockchain platform.
@primetimesports has been running NFL contests and giveaways on the Steem platform and decided what better place to have our project on and be a witness for.
Who Are We?
Our group currently consists of users:
@swolesome - A Scorum user that loves the platform and wants to see it succeed. And also a good looking Florida boy.
@mrsanchez - Sports Lover, Crypto Enthusiast, Family Man and Witness for Steem.
@heaterville - Sports enthusiast, Daily Fantasy Player, Laker Fan, and Music Producer/Engineer.
@bitcoinparadise - Blogger, Sports enthusiast, Community Manager, blockchain development, Witness for Steem.
@bitcoinparadise has run his own witness on Steem and Golos as to help with the launch and early growth of those platforms. Now is currently running @block-buster witness on Steem with partner @mrsanchez. We decided to partner up with a few others to bring a witness here with @primetimesports on Scorum.
How Will We Accomplish Our Goal?
It won't be easy(nothing great ever is), but our team understands that working together with communities and building new ones, is crucial to growth and distribution.
Our team is committed and has a project called Smart Media Group where we promote other projects, users, and communities. Media content is not only on Steem and our project utilizes all platforms for more content exposure and adoption of new users to platforms like Scorum.
We have a Discord server of about 1700 members to cross-promote content and network with. We welcome projects such as Curation groups or other Scorum servers that are looking to join and build their community a part of the SMG project.
We do have plans in the works for a possible sports podcast by a couple of members from the Scorum community so stay tuned!
As for everything else with our goal, it is to outreach to the Scorum devs and Stakeholders to work together to create engagement and opportunities to capitalize on.

how do you vote for witnesses on Scorum? It can be a little tricky but you can check out this post from @jotmax

Unfortunately, Polarity is only available for Windows and if you are familiar with the cli_wallet, then you can vote for our witness through there but other than that, you'll have to wait for that feature to be added on Scorum or a separate app frontend to be developed.
