Scorumnigeria was introduced in this post on 1st of August 2018. Scorumnigeria started from a whatsapp group created for addressing issues related to Scorum and fostering unity among members. While we still maintain this, we have moved on to be one of the best community on the Scorum. From onboarding new users and investors, curation activities, organizing contests/meetups to providing contents that will improve users, Scorumnigeria have been a positive impact on the platform.

Many users are skeptical about the success of community accounts being set up to hasten user integration and mass adoption of scorum. There is no cause for alarm as scorumnigeria is getting stronger everyday in the quest for mass adoption of Scorum in Nigeria and her environs.

In light of maintaining transparency, we will give an update of our activities in the past 2 months.

Statistics

The first ever curation report was made on 3rd of August 2018. All posts were upvoted at 100% due to the unavailability of the vote slider. This curated posts were also supported by @zoneboy and @tosyne2much account to give each post a considerable amount of upvote value.

September 7 saw scorumnigeria getting a delegation from scorum team. This gave us the ability to select vote percent and reward more quality posts. We ensure that our voting power is kept in the range of 70-80% to enable it replenish after 24 hours.

A total of 148 posts have been curated so far with 75 unique users rewarded. You can check this spreadsheet to view the posts curated in one piece. Request access to enable you view it.

Mode of curation

  1. Quality posts having the scorumnigeria or nigeria tag are curated
  2. Quality posts submitted in the scorumnigeria discord server are curated
  3. Top picked post get full upvote
  4. Admins posts are given full upvote in order to reward them for their efforts. However, due to discontent among members of the Scorum community, this will be stopped as all posts will be curated normally and only Top picked posts getting full upvote.

  1. Onboarding sport personalities both in Nigeria and Africa
  2. Live coverage of local football matches
  3. Running a witness server
