Source The tournament has been started in Rajbiraj. The opening match was played in the ground of Public Bindeshwori Secondary School (PBSS). Surunga defeated Khadak by 8 wickets in the opening match of the tournament. Khadak won the toss and they made 82 runs in 20 over with the loss of 8 wickets. Santoshi chaudhary scored 18 runs, Saraswati Chaudhary scored 12 runs, Rashmi sharma scored 10 runs and Kajal Shrestha scored 9 runs for Khadak. Sangita Rai and Somu Bista took 2 wicket each for Surunga. Also, Rubina Chhetry and Apsara Begam took a wicket each for them. Chasing the small target of 83 runs, Surunga took 19 overs and 1 ball to reach it with the los of 2 wickets. Roma Thapa scored an unbeaten 34 runs and Apsara Begam scored an unbeaten 15 runs, Rubina chaudhary scored 14 runs and Nitu Bhandari scored 13 runs Surunga. Shati chaudhary and Rashmi sharma took a wicket each for Khadak. Roma Thapa was declared as the player of the match.
