Skateboarding was first discovered in the mid 1940-1950s by Frank Nasworthy surfers from California, who at that time wanted to find another alternative to surfing when the sea water was not choppy. In the 1970s, Frank Nasworthy made skateboard tires of polyurethane material or commonly called Cadillac.
