The transfer market for this summer is still up to 5 October. But Chelsea still didn't want to stop shopping. Declan Rice, a West Ham United player, is a player the Blues are still hunting for.
Because Chelsea is not satisfied. Chelsea are still hunting for a goalkeeper and one player to fill the defensive midfielder post. Like, Declan Rice is still on the list.
Declan Rice is an English player who is still 21 years old. He has strengthened West Ham United since 2017 when he broke into the main squad of the academy team. Interestingly, Declan Rice also studied at the Chelsea academy before joining West Ham United U-18. Declan Rice is Mason Mount's contemporary.
Declan Rice is a player who can be plotted as a defensive midfielder as well as a central defender. With a body posture as high as 1.8 meters, he is strong for duels, especially the top balls. Declan Rice has made 110 appearances for West Ham. He is still under contract until 2024.
For now, West Ham do not want to lose Declan Rice in vain. West Ham reportedly opened the price for Chelsea at 80 million pounds or the equivalent of Rp. 1.5 trillion.
