The carabao cup quarter final draw has been drawn after some teams had known their fate with Man City dismissing Fulham 2-0 last night. The cup which is regarded as the second oldest English competition will see familiar name slug it out the quarter final.

The biggest match of the quarter final will see two north London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham take on each other at the emirate stadium in December. Tottenham eliminated west ham by 3-1 on Tuesday while Arsenal lay off Blackpool 3-1 to progress to this stage.

The Two lower division sides Burton Albion and Middlesbrough got themselves a place in the quarter final by their victory against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace respectively. This remains the easiest of the fixtures on but will be a tough one for both teams.

Chelsea who defeated a stubborn Frank Lampard’s side Derby County in a 3-2 hard fought win at Stamford Bridge last night will face their fellow premier league counterpart Bournemouth who had dismissed Norwich city 2-1 on Tuesday night. Luckily for Sarri boys, there go what seems an easy opponent on paper.

Manchester City last night sent Fulham out of the carabao cup in a 2-0 win at Etihad stadium and will have to wait awhile to know their next opponent in a decider between Leicester; who are mourning the death of the club owner versus Southampton. Remember City are the defending champion of this cup and are looking pretty cool to claim it again.
