Lucas celebrating after goal

In last article about spurs I asked can Tottenham players play two consecutive good games and I got direct answer today - no they can't. If you just saw result you might think Tottenham ran over Norwich and won easy, but it was all but not that.

Game started with big chance for Norwich when Pukki did not so good shot on goal from very big chance. Lloris saved it. Soon after Ugo made big mistake and delivered ball to Norwich players, but they failed to score. They controlled the game, did attacks and it looks like it's only meter of time when they will score. Spurs then suddenly exchange few good passes Lucas turn toward goal in the middle of attack and made great shot for 1:0. Very effective goal, one of two moments we should remember from this game. Ball entered into goal in top corner under bar in powerful way just like fans love. Soon after Kane had big chance but his attempt over Norwich goalkeeper ended near post.

Spurs survived one dead chance for Norwich early in second half where Norwich player missed sitter from 5 meters. I was upset to the point that I tweeted who is here top 4 contender and who is relegation cannon fodder ? Soon after Kane made good shot from around 18m but his good effort was deflected to corner. One good thing about this game is fact that Son started to kick corners from left side with right and from right side with left leg just like I wanted in previous article. One corner like that, fall of Norwich defender and Sanchez got ball for easy tap in. It was 2:0 and after that Norwich fell in morale and Spurs looked like better team. Sanchez not celebrating goal but standing like statue tells me just how over potent this player really is. He had good game blocked few shots, scored goal but I can't understand his reaction on goal... Soon after it was 3 when Davies made short pass toward Son inside the box and Korean, who meet actor Holland - Spiderman who is of course Spurs fan, showed his superb skill and founded net and did spider celebration after. There was one big chance for Norwich again, but their player missed entire ball on 6-7meters.

Son's and especially Lucas goal are things to remember from this game. Fans are very happy about this win, but I can tell you if there was some mid table club on other side Tottenham wouldn't win this game. Letting one of worst clubs in league to create 3 or 4 dead chances on your stadium is to much. I am afraid this was same old Tottenham whose players think they are to good and that they will win without playing anything. I think they underestimated Norwich, but get away with it this time.

Good things were better corners, Skipp was again superb and was man of the match. Guy is everywhere. I want to meet someone from Spurs staff who wanted to send him on loan in this summer! Emerson was ill, Tanganga replaced him, but he didn't show anything in attack and was subbed off for Doherty in second half. Reggi got injured in first half and Ryan Sessegnon came in and was very good.

Next few opponents Oh Rennes (Alo alo whoop) and Brighton will demand much more serious approach and effort. COYS!
