Conor Gallagher was denied an opportunity to face Chelsea
Chelsea will be facing Crystal Palace in the semi finals of the FA Cup at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday, when this draw was made there was attempts from Crystal Palace to made an offer to Chelsea to allow Chelsea loaned Player Conor Gallagher who has been in his peak on loan to play against his parent club. The appeal was rejected due to the agreement that was on his deal before he moved on loan in the summer and the agreement will not make him play in the encounter. The decision was not fine by Crystal Palace and Gallagher himself but there is nothing Chelsea can do so far it was the agreement. I don't think it should be new to Crystal Palace because that has always be the kind of agreement Chelsea made on their loan players who was given out on loan, I believed there has been some cases where some loaned player has played against their parent team while on loan and that is the case of Thibaut Courtois when he was in Atlético Madrid and he keeps in a Champions league competition, though there is dispute about the agreement that he won't feature but UEFA interfere and he was allowed. Ever since then I haven't seen that cases, maybe in the coming season though. Reports has made it known that Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has personally made an apology to Gallagher because he knows how bad he feels not playing in that game and gave him some explanation, Gallagher has been one of the most outstanding player in Crystal Palace and he has scored a total of eight goals. His performance has also given him a call up to the England national team and he has featured in a friend game against Switzerland. After his loan ended this summer it is certain he will get a place in the team due to his performance so far.
