Belgian Jupiler League Week 16 Sunday Previews

These posts contain previews on matches from the Belgian League with some on my personal bets, live-betting angles, Team Form, Injuries and Team News.

Overall solid Saturday mostly thanks to the live bets that I shared on the SBC Discord #live-betting Channel. 3 more matches today and I have some pre-game bets on them.

AA Gent vs Antwerp

AA Gent won their last home match against Kortrijk but did not play that good pretty much scoring 100% of their chances. This season they tend to win against smaller teams but seem unable to take points against the teams who are on top of the table. Antwerp has been one of the revelations this season especially away where they are 6W-1L against the asian line. They are very good at keeping things closed down in defense and are dangerous on the counters. AA Gent so far this season has show to have a lot of trouble breaking down solid defenses. I expect this to start as a closed down match where AA Gent might have intentions to go forward without willingness to take any risk. Antwerp are without Haroun who is important in the midfield and it remains to be seen how they will cope. I do like the chances on the visitors and the first half under and took Antwerp +0.5 @ 1.87 and 1st Half Under 1 @ 2.03

Sint-Truiden vs Anderlecht

Sint-Truiden has also been a revelation team this season and they have and excellent offensive weapon with Kamada in form. Their pitch is horrible though which makes betting really difficult on this match. They have a very old and very worn out artificial pitch that should never be allowed by the league. Anderlecht has a lot of important missings. Trebel will be out for a while. 67% of the points they take is done with him in the team and 23% when he is out. Kums who finally also picked up some good form again will also be out leaving them without their 2 most important players on the midfield. Najar, Dimata and Saief are also out which means they will have to play a very new line-up including quite some youngsters. The line has moved accordingly and might even drift more before kick-off. I usually don't mind opposing these kinds of moves but there is just too much questionalble in this match also because of the pitch. If my hand was forced I would go with the home team +0 right now. No Pre-Game Bets, and I'm also not looking to get overly involved live in this match.

Lokeren vs Charleroi

Charleroi got over-rewared on the 2-1 win at home against Club Brugge while Lokeren got under-rewarded on the 2-0 loss against Zulte-Waregem and actually played a good match. I tend to like these pattern where the result gives a wrong match picture on both teams as results often overly influence the price. Lokeren is now a +0.5 home underdog against a poor away team as a result. Last season the closing odds they got at home were +0 @ 2.07. Their new coach by now has some extra time to prepare his group they do have a good performance behind them despite the loss. I would not be surprised to see another ok performance from Lokeren who are in need for a good result. I took Lokeren +0.5 @ 1.935
