There is one bet in the Belgian Jupiler League that I really like and took early this week. I thought about changing my posting schedule making this post on Monday and the weekly results post today, but I don't like to change up my posting routine. I wrote an article in the past on Handicapping vs Following and this is a good example of how making bets more suitable for followers tends to decrease the overall edge since the odds dropped a bit because I had to wait to make this post.
Eupen vs Moeskroen
Both teams are somewhat going opposite ways when it comes down to form. Moeskroen has been playing well lately while Eupen after a having a short revival is playing quite poorly lately. Eupenlost 4 of their last 5 matches while Moeskroen managed to break their streak of being unable to win on the road last away match vs Waasland and they only lost 2 of their last 5 matches overall. I also like the angle of matches where teams are close in the standings betting the team that is chasing. The bet I took myself Monday was Moeskroen +0.5 @ 1.953 odds dropped the last days to 1.85 but I still see enough value and I'm adding some in BTC on the Moeskroen + @ 2.638 on Nitrogensports (this saw less of an odds drop). If I was a 100% bookmaker I would set the odds at 1.667-2.500 on the Draw No Bet Line in the worst case for the visitors. At current Nitrogen odds, this would give a +5.52% Edge. I have no intention to hedge out or middle this bet pre-game.
