These posts contain previews on matches from the Belgian League with some on my personal bets, live-betting angles, Team Form, Injuries and Team News.

I managed to get in a nice "lose a little win a lot" spot on the Racing Genk match yesterday which nearly hit and would have made a 2 unit difference. Unfortunately, it didn't but I will continue to try and get myself in these spots starting today with 3 more matches. All are quite tricky and I am still being extra careful to get myself in pre-game betting situations.

Club Brugge vs AA Gent

AA Gent managed to reach the cup final against Oostende after being 2-0 behind with extra time and penalties on Wednesday. A case can be made for them being more tired because of this or this giving them an extra confidence boost in their race for Play-off 1. They are now in 6th place with both Stvv and Charleroi chasing them 1 and 3 points behind. Club Brugge was in somewhat of a poor form a while back and they aren't 100% just yet. Nakamba will be suspended for this match and hey still have a couple injuries. My lean right now goes out to AA Gent as the Underdog. Bezus already showed that he's good enforcement in their midfield along with Odidja. As far as Goals go, both teams generally have an offensive approach but this doesn't automatically mean this will be a wide open match. I could not resist a small pre-game bet on AA Gent +0.75 @ 1.92. My main focus will be on Live betting though and this will be one of those matches where all options are open and the match itself will be the main deciding factor.

Standard vs Anderlecht

Standard was weakened last week while Anderlecht was enforced. Luyindama who was their really strong in form Central defender left while Anderlecht acquired Striker Bolasie. Anderlecht has a tradition to struggle against Standard and overall still lack in quality. They are in a very tricky spot right now barely into the top 6 and there will be some pressure on them for sure. Them taking the away win would highly surprise me. This match feels like one where to back the team that falls behind. As far as the total line goes, it's tempting to go with the over. Standard should be weakened in the defense and Anderlecht by default is not best when it comes down to keeping clean sheets. Something I also always look out for in the Standard matches is the form of the day from Carcela. He is very inconsistent partly because he's having a sleeping disorder which makes him have good days and bad days. It's difficult to know in advance, but if he showing to be good I'm far more willing to back Standard. Final Line-Ups will also be key.

Sint-Truiden vs Eupen

Stvv is in 7th place 1 point clear from Play-off 1 (depending on the result from first 2 matches today). They lost a couple key players during the winter break but are holding up so far and played an entertaining match last week winning 1-2 against Cercle Brugge. Eupen is safe being14 points clear of the last place and is one of those teams that is hard to put a number on. The poor quality artificial pitch in Sint-truiden is always an issue and I don't really like to get involved in their home matches. I do expect them to have something of a collapse at some after losing a lot of player base quality over the winter. I'm not sure if this is the match to start fading them. The under in corners will be a potential play in this one for me with Stvv being 2-9 on the over 9.5 line at home so far this season while Eupen being 2-6 on the over away against non top teams. No pre-Game Bets
