Premier league like their Seria A counterpart are known to accommodate certain degree of tackles and as well physical challenge unlike their La Liga sides. To play in English premier league, a player must make up his mind to face the nature of the premiership officiating. Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs made the list with 37 yellow cards. Giggs spent 24years playing for United and is considered the most successful player in premiership era winning 13 EPL trophies in his 632 league appearances. He went on to cap 963 club matches and 162 international matches for Wales without seeing a red card.

Manchester United famous goalkeeper and legend Edwin van dar saar is seen as one of the best keeper of EPL, winning many tittles with United. van der saar never tripped any player both unintentionally or intentionally especially during his 366 appearances for United with meagre 11 yellow cards.

The republic of Ireland player who never received a red card entered referee’s list 26 times during his 392 football playing days with premiership sides like Blackburn, Newcattle, Chelsea then Fulham. before finishing his career with Australia A-league side Melbourne. In his 18years top flight career played 632 matches, scoring 95 times and collected 31 yellow cards.

Topping the list is the England international Gary Lineker who played during the late 1970’s to new premiership era till mid 90’s. Gary has a record for having not received any card from a referee in his entire football career. He featured for Leicester, Everton Tottenham, Barcelona and was awarded FIFA fair player in 1990. Aside his card record, Gary remains England third highest scorer with 48 goals and overall 281 goals in 567 games in his 15years career.
