Both Racing Genk and Club Brugge survived the European winter and will be playing the next round of the Europa League early next year. Just 3 more matchdays (week 19, 20 and 21) along with 4 cup matches on the schedule before the winter break. The betting season can be quite exhausting and I'm looking forward to the winter break to arrive. For now, the betting grind continues and I will do what is needed to stay as sharp as possible despite many things going on at once currently.
Charleroi vs AA Gent
Both teams are missing some players and I would argue it's a bit worse for the home side who will be without Marton, Willems, gholizadeh and Ilaimaharitra. Gent will be without Asare and Verstraete who are both suspended. I mentioned last week that I was willing to start backing Gent after fading them during most of the first half of the season. They won against Eupen with 2-0 covering their handicap but again were not really that convincing given the fact that Eupen took a red card halfway through the 1t half. Their main issue right now is that they lack a scoring striker. Charleroi remains a team that often plays one good and one bad half. AA Gent is 1 point ahead and back in the top 6. I would not be surprised if both teams could live with a draw in this match. The stats lean toward the over but I'm not really jumping to take that since most goals from both teams have come out of nowhere late in the match. AA Gent +0 @ 1.84+ would be the bet of my choice, but I'm waiting it out live to see how this match plays out before really getting involved with any bets.
