Fairly good day on Saturday where I mostly kept the stakes low. I'm glad I stayed away from the Genk vs Kortrijk match which ended in a 1-1 draw. The corners under in Oostende vs Lokeren would have won easily but I was unable to take it because the asian bookmakers did not have it up for offer. The lines are set extremely tight these days and I'm not exactly in the zone where everything I touch wins. So I'm taking a more precautionary approach being patient until something comes along that is really worth betting.
Cercle Brugge vs Antwerp
Cercle Brugge had huge issues in the midfield last week with Mercier out. He will be back into the line-up today. So far this season Cercle Brugge has been strong at home (5W-2L vs asian handicap). They are also a team that tends to go over at home and under in away matches. Both Taravel & Lambot are out which might give some issues in defense. Antwerp lost last week deserved at home against Stvv. Their away games tend to have very few goals (7W-1L vs asian under line) and they nearly always cover their handicap 7W-1L in away matches vs asian handicap. So very much a match with conflicting stats to begin with. My lean goes out to the visitors because of the couple injuries in the Cercle team but I would need some strong confirmation Live. Anderlecht vs Charleroi
Anderlecht currently has a bad pitch and this certainly has an influence when it comes down to taking bets in this match. This season they mostly rely on youngsters and it's really a mystery how they are only 4 points behind on Club Brugge who have played 1 match more. The odds this season have reflected their situation perfectly and are about break even on the asian handicap. Charleroi is a team that often switch good periods with bad ones and it's always a guess which team will stand up. They are no longer the extremely defensive team they used to be and have a hard time keeping a clean sheet. It is really hard to make a prediction on this match and there really is no reason to attempt it. I'm sure there will be some good live-betting opportunities in this one. No Pre-Game Bets
AA Gent vs Eupen
Gent Played a good Cup match against Beerschot winning 3-0. I have opposed plenty of times this season, but am now at a point where I'm willing to start backing them. Key player Odidja is in good form and allows the entire team to play better. Eupen has been rather poor again the last couple weeks especially against teams in the top half of the standings. I expect this match to play out similar to Standard vs Eupen where the visitors simply were not good enough. Fatigue could be an issue for The home team as they played a mid-week match while Eupen kept nearly all their A-Squad players home. I was confident enough to take a smaller early bet on AA Gent -1.25 @ 2.107. I'm hoping to see some confirmation to take some extra on them live.
